| What
we use and why. |
|
As part
of our on going quality products, Prints 2 Go strive on perfection
and are forever searching new techniques and methods. We currently
offer the best methods possible in the industry. We test all
our printing methods before we sell them on to you to ensure
that the durability, wash and colourfast last and meet our
expectations.
|
| Every
time we meet our expectations, we set a higher target which
means that we bring you even better quality and products. If
you require a particular method, please let us knowbefore hand
or after making you order and we will use the desired methods
that we have on offer. Otherwise, create your designs and we
will do the rest for you. |
|
| Our
main printing methods: |
| Flex
transfers: Highly used on garments and mainly for simple
and complex text such as custom fonts and wavy or arched names/words.
We also use this method for solid colours and up to 5 or 6 different
colours. Upon request, we may also use flock where you have
a material feel that can also be mixed with flex, transfers
and sublimation. |
 |
|
| Heat
Transfers: We mainly use these for photographic and complex/full
Colour images. All transfers are used with our Colour water
resistant ink that will last wash after wash after wash as long
as the wash care guide lines are followed. You can wash up to
30 washed before you notice any change in Colour and when you
do you can easily revive the colours by covering the image with
a normal piece of copying paper and by ironing over it for a
few seconds. Be careful not to hold the iron over the paper
and image for more than 2-3 seconds as this can burn the print.
Instead, just glide the iron over gently. |

Sublimation:
One of the best methods we use for products such as mugs,
plaques, puzzles and much more. We also use these on our special
range of subli garments (clearly marked as subli in the product
interface) which are normally made of 100% polyester. Instead,
our subli garments are made of 100% cotton with an outer layer
of polyester. This allows you to have a cool and comfortable
fit, but yet have the pleasures of the remarkable feel and
look of a sublimation garment. This method only works best
on white backgrounds or even very pale colours like pink and
beige. It is possible to have this done on on dark colours
such as black but this can cost more as a preparation is required
before any printing can be made.
